Sebastian Band Wins Rockabilly Rumble Songwriting Contest!

Professor Pennygoode’s Mighty Flea Circus by Sébastien won the international songwriting competition called The Rockabilly Rumble!

“We were doing! 67% to 33%. We really can’t thank you enough for spreading the word. This never would have happened without people like you,” the group said. Sebastian Daily.

Several people in Sebastian voted for the band’s song, Wreckin ‘Ball, which passed the contest.

The grand prize is $ 3,000 and the band’s song will be produced by Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats in Los Angeles. The group won the title of “World’s Best New Rockabilly Song”.

Two of the band members, Stingray and Chrystine, will perform at the Pareidolia Brewing Company as a duo called “Hairpeace” this Thursday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
