On Sunday September 5th, Shrewsbury’s arts charity, The Hive, is offering a free day of fun, creative and inspiring workshops for children and youth.
Since reopening its doors this summer, The Hive has offered outdoor theater, craft workshops, music sessions and live performances, as well as returning attendees as part of their charitable welfare projects. to be.
CEO Cerin Mills said: “The building has come back to life. It has been invigorating and inspiring which is why we are so excited about our free workshops. We’re excited to offer a day of diverse and creative sessions for kids of all ages, and it would be great to see some new faces too! “
There will be songwriting from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., poetry and visual arts at the same times, environmental arts workshops from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. , and Jembe percussion at 10:30 am. .
